Lymph capillaries, to collecting vessels, to lymph trunks, finally to lymph ducts.
How is lyphm transported?
It lacks a pump or organ that has a pump - lymph vessels are low pressure- bundled together in connective tissue along w blood vessels therefore promoting lymph flow.
Is lymph flow fast or slow?
It is slow and sporadic
What is homeostatic imbalance vasa vasorum?
Large blood vessels collect blood and are red and painful to the touch aka lymphangitis.

2) thoracic duct - receives lymph from rest of body. |
What is cisterna chyli?

What are B cells?

Also protect the body from foreign invaders by producing plasma cells that secrete antibodies into the blood.
What are phagocytes?
They are cells which eat foreign invaders.
What does the lymphatic tissue do to protect the body?
It holds the lymphocytes and allows them to survey all that enters the lymphatic system.
What are lymph nodes and describe their function?
