Circuit
a closed path through which a continuous charge can flow. Made out of a conductive material
Resistor
an electrical device that slows the flow of the electric charge in a circuit. Sometimes the energy is converted into light or heat by a resistor.
Short Circuit
an unintended path that an electric flow can take, diverting electricity away from some devices.
Series Circuit
a circuit that follows a single path that all devices of the circuit are on.
Parallel Circuit
a circuit where current follows more than one path. This uses up the battery faster but keeps the voltage consistent through all devices.
Electronic
used to describe any device that uses electric current to represent coded information. In this case, the signals are variations in the current.
Binary Code
a coding system consisting of two choices, 1 and 0. Complex messages can be sent with binary code.
Digital Information
streams of binary code in bits and bytes.
Analog
used to describe any information that has continuous variation, like from a microphone, tape, or video camera
When an attacker captures part of a communication and later sends the communication segment to the server whilst pretending to be the user it is known as a:
It is known as the Replay attack.
