Kidnaping for ransom (three elements)	1. unlawful seizure 2. secret confinement 3. extortion or ransom
Defense to kidnaping	if the person who was confined or transported gave consent there was no kidnaping.
extortion- common law	collection of an unlawful fee by an officer under color of his office
extortion - modern law	unlawful extraction of money or other value by means of a threat not sufficient for robbery
