(ex. head injury be aware of inappropriate behavior) 3. groups can be structured along a developmental continum where the nonhuman objects lead the action and the activities are structured to promote group-centered action. members can leanr about thier own capabilities in proximity to an external,ly designated leader, thereby stretching to their higher functioal potential. 4. through participating in group activities that promote growth and change, members can learn and practice skills to master and achieve competence in activities required for daily life. 5. gropups can be organized in a way to enable the goup to lead the doing by fiving the members a set of possibilities that empowers the groups capacity for selfpdirection. 6. when groups provide an opportunity for dealing with real-life issues and objects, people can maintain, improve or enhance their occupational nature to fulfill social demands. 7. postulates and hypotheses support this reasoning not only by theoretical orientation but also by incorporating the best current research and evidence available as to the effectiveness of intervention approaches. |
