Lays down new bone in places where bone was just removed (deposits osteoid & salt matrix).

An imbalance in osteoclast and osteoblast.
What makes up the Axial Skeleton?
Skull, vertebral column, ribs, and the sternum.
What makes up the appendicular skeleton?
Pectoral girdle, pelvic girdle, and the limbs.

Maxilla, palatine, zygomatic, nasal, and mandible.
