Do you have freedom to think for yourself about the bible as a Jehovah's witness?

Watchtower Claims to be "God's Collective faithful slave that ALONE guides people in their understanding of scripture, is this true?
Since the Watchtower did not come into existence until the Late 19th century, does this mean that God had no true representative on earth for all those centuries before?

Did God not care if people understood the bible for all those centuries?

What does it mean that the Watchtower Society claimed that 1925 would mark the return of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, who would RISE FROM THE GRAVE and live in San Diego?

Or that in 1968, the year of my birth, WS claimed that 7.5 years later HUMAN HISTORY WOULD END, and the 1000 year rein of Christ would begin.
Biblical prophets sometimes made mistakes and were not branded false prophets.
Who?

Jonah?

Jonah's prophesies were CONDITIONAL. "Unless you repent..." Watchtower statements were non-conditional and emphatic.
