    • Side 3
    • Why are you seeking new employment?
    • I recently moved to California from Illinois.
    • Where do you see yourself in 5 (or 10) years?
    • In 5 years I hope to have learned everything possible about the library system, so that I could advance to a position with more responsibility.
    • Why should we hire you?
    • I am excellent at customer service. In every job I've had, customers have contacted my supervisors to acknowledge how friendly and helpful I am. I am also an extremely fast learner. It will not take me long to learn the layout and procedures of each branch.
    • What are your weaknesses?
    • I don't like confrontation. I used to have a hard time dealing with angry customers. But after years of working in customer service I have learned not to take it so personally, and that the best way to deal with that kind of situation is to stay calm, figure out why the customer is displeased and then try to correct the problem within the guidelines of the business.
    • What are your salary expectations?
    • I am looking for compensation that is competitive for this position in the area. I would like to earn between 2-3 thousand a month.
    • How did you get along with your last boss?
    • We got along really well, actually. She would Although the position required little supervision, she made sure that had everything I needed and was available if I needed help or had questions.
