an infection is?	an invasion of a susceptible host by pathogens or micoorganisms, resulting in disease.
Colonization is present when?	when a microoganism invades a host, grows and multiplies, but doesn't cause disease or infection unless it alters normal tissue function.
what is a nosocomical ?	it's a health care facility acquired infection. Patients In healthcare setting maybe more susceptible to infection due to mulitple illnesses, age, and nourishment.
What is Aspesis?	absence of illness-producing microorganisms.
What equipment is used with aseptic techniques?	gloves, gown, mask, and eyewear.
What is Medical aspesis?	Medical aspesis practices to decrease the number growth, and spread of micoorganisms from one object. .
When medical aspesis be used?	oral medications, personal hygeine, and NGT managment.
what is Surgical aspesis?	deleberate practices to eleminate all microorganisms from an object or area ( AKA sterile technique).
What are medical aseptic practices?	handwashing; changing linens; use mask, gown, gloves, and eyewear; follow isolated percaustions; maintaining personal hygeine.
