Christ speaking to Pharisees. During Christ's adult ministry. The Pharisees and have just accused Christ of using power of Satan. Ask him to give a sign. This is his response. Again testifying of God, proving He is not of Devil. they will have to face judgment for being so hard-hearted. |
Jonah was a rebellious servant who preached a great message but a whole city repented. Solomon, a great man, was very wise and a great king, but there is one greater than these. Illustrating the greatness of God. To reject him is to reject God's greatest message and our greatest hope. |

Mark 7:11
Christ speaking to Pharisees. The Pharisees are accusing Christ and His disciples of not following traditions of elders. Christ rebukes them for their hypocrisy, points out one of their trespasses. |
This passage is speaking of how the Pharisees "dedicate" their money to God and the church calling it a "gift", for the sole reason so they don't have to spend it to take care of their parents. Shows Pharisees self-interest, and how they have to right to judge Christ's disciples. They have twisted God's gospel. |

Disciples to Christ. Just previously been called. Christ had just preached to multitude parable of sower. They go to cross sea, storm hits. Christ calms it and says they have little faith. They are amazed at His power. |
This passage is teaching Faith. Christ is in charge of all things, trust Him. His disciples are gaining realization of His power. We we all face "storms". Jesus helps us deal with them. |

Everyone has capacity to understand but some choose not to. parables "concealed'. You can't find if you're not looking. Parables conceal from wicked, filter the ground, warn the wicked, and teach! |

Goes along with the Mesiahnic secret? The keys are bestowed on the 12. But they won't lead church until after Christ dies. |

Christ to disciples. The twelve have just asked who is the greatest in the kingdom of God, and Christ is replying about humility and how to handle trespasses against you. |
These principles teach how to be true disciples. They require humility. This passage spefifically is teaching that when someone offends you, go talk to them about it. Do not spread it around to all your friends. |
