maybe pain

watch for cancer - scrotal transillumination

abnormal dilation of veins in scrotum

often on left side (if on right need to rule out malignancy)

often testicular hypoplasia and infertility

swelling "bag of worms"

twisting of testis on its own blood supply

urological emergency

deformity of bell clapper - failed gubernacular attachment

extravaginal happens early, but less common

intravaginal more common

LOTS OF PAIN

loss of cremasteric reflex

if it happens to one side it can happen to other side

failed descent of testis

testicle wont function properly - but want to surgically descend the testical so you can screen for cancer and increase fertility chance

increased risk for cancer

fungal infections of the glans and forskin - usually candida or tinea

due to poor hygiene

see in uncircumsized or diabetics

abnormal curvature of the penis associated with plaque (scar) tissue in tunica albuginea

pain
can cause impotence if blood flow is reduced

associated with dupuytren's contraction

prolonged, painful erection

see with sickle cell disease, cancer, cocaine

treat the sickle cell or inject alpha-adrenergic agonist

due to over agressive intercourse

buckling/shear injury to tunica albugenia of corporal bodies


eggplant deformity

incomplete dev of anterior urethra

mostly anterior
