Vancomycin
Vancomycin is used to treat colitis (inflammation of the intestine caused by certain bacteria) that may occur after antibiotic treatment. Monobactams are beta-lactam antibiotics that destroy bacterial cell walls causing destruction of micro-organisms.
* •Tell your doctor if you have or have ever had inflammatory bowel disease (swelling of the intestine that can cause painful cramps or diarrhea), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis; hearing loss; or kidney disease

difficulty breathing or swallowing

unusual bleeding or bruising

flomax
Flomax is an alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing muscles in the prostate and bladder, which helps to improve urine flow and reduce symptoms of BPH.
* You should not use Flomax if you are allergic to tamsulosin.

Ampicillin
Ampicillin is an antibiotic in the penicillin group of drugs. It fights bacteria in your body. Destroys bacteria by weakening the bacterial cell wall. Usually used when a patient is allergic to penicillin.

Take oral penicillins with a full glass of water 1 our before or 2 hours after. Report any signs of allergic response, skin rash and itching. Use cautiously in clients with kidney dysfunction OLDER ADULTS. Patients with an allergy to one penicillin may be cross allergic to other penicillins and at risk for a cross allergy to cephalosporin
