What is a 'wave'?
A wave is a means of transferring energy from one point to another without any transfer of matter.
What are the 2 main types of waves?
Transverse Waves and Longitudinal Waves.
What is a transverse wave?
A transverse wave is were the vibrations are at a right angle to the rest point. The more energy the wave has the bigger its amplitude is.
What is a longituinal wave?
A longitudinal wave is where the vibrations are parrallel to the direction in which the wave is moving.
