IV fluids (lactated ringers), PRBC, FFP, Foley, NGT, D/C possible causes (ASA, plavix)

HnP, anorectal exam, NG Tube aspiration to R/O upper gi bleed, Endoscopy/anoscopy/proctosopy/colonoscopy or Angiogram
If slow bleed is in colon what is the bestway to find it?
Colonoscopy (use angio with tagged RBC if it’s a fast bleed)
Treatment of a lower GI bleed that is massive and of a known location?
Resection
How many Lower GI bleeds require surgery?
Only 10 %, most resolve on their own.
