Why or why not? Why is it to hard to succeed in equality? Based on the amendments nothing is impossible. Both the amendments 15 & 19 talk about rights. The 15 amendment is mainly about the black suffrage and how blacks cannot be enslaved, the 19 talks about how the women are free to vote and they have their own rights.THese are the only two amendments that related to freedom why do you think these laws were created? That proves that if you take a stand about for what you believe nothing is impossible. A bunch of women started a women's sufferage to have rights to own land and to vote so they stood their ground. As they wanted rights and stood up for it, they finally made progress and got rights as they wished but it took hard work. The 15th amendment means that the blacks had the freedom to be free and to have rights like the rest of us. We can try to be equal and be treated equally, but someone may not like it or may not respect our rights. Equality to me will never be achieved because some people don't want to respect other people, including Blacks, White, Mexican, Asians, Philippines. No one in the universe is going to be treated equally even if they don't like it. The first amendment talks about being having the right to speak and to have your own religion and stuff like that, we made progress to get the chance to speak to get the right to be free so, so far equality is still a hope. Since we have the 1st amendment, we can speak our minds, but using appropriate language now we have the right to be free and to speak. We are making progress so far, but can we try harder to succeed. Through the 1st amendment, we have the right to speak and to choose our religion etc. we are able to succeed in expression, but the real question is will we ever be able to succeed in equality? So far the world is capable of achieving equality? With the 1st amendment we have the right to speak. how will we deal with judging and racism. Will society be free of racism and judging? Many people don't think so, judging will never be changed because in order to change racism you’ll have to change the people and the way they think. Equality is having the right to be free and have rights. Many people want equality, but some don't ,but why?
