September 11th, 2001. American Airlines flight 11, carrying 92 people took off from Boston's Logan International Airport at 7:59AM, in route to Los Angeles. United Airlines flight 175 took off minutes after flight 11, also headed to Los Angeles. After just 20 minutes in the air, flight 11 attendants notified the ground personnel that the plane had been hijacked by terrorists. Seconds after the hijacker of flight 11, Mohammed Atta, attempted to control the flight, the Northeast Air Defense Sector (NEADS) was notified. They scrambled to get together two planes to tail flight 11 in attempt to stop what was going to happen next; but, it is too late. Seconds later, flight 11 struck around the 90th floor of the North Tower in the World Trade Center. …show more content…
“Operation Pearl” was created by a theorist named A. K. Dewdney, and in his thesis he states that first three passenger plane landed at an airport in Pennsylvania where the passengers disembarked. He also states that the three planes that crashed into the World Trade Center were remote controlled. His conclusion to “Operation Pearl” was that the passengers off of the three planes were all packed into United Airline flight 93, shot down over Pennsylvania, and the planes were sunk in the ocean into a watery grave (9/11 Attacks Conspiracy Theories). Where did he come up with this extreme theory and is it credible? Dewdney’s theory can be viewed as incorrect for many reasons. First, there were too many passengers on three planes to cram into one. Second, thousands of Americans watched and videoed flight 73 and flight 175 crashed into the Twin Towers. Many witnesses also saw citizens jump from the towers hoping for a way out. Third, at least seven witnesses saw a commercial aircraft crash into the Pentagon. Finally, and most importantly, it is almost impossible for the US government to carry out such an act without being caught. Hundreds of countries believe that 9/11was a conspiracy. Another reason American citizens are so quick to believe the 9/11 conspiracies is because they believe that the government is hiding information about aliens, the John F. Kennedy assassination and global warming. Iranian president Mahmound Ahmadine declared a speech telling the …show more content…
In my opinion, it is impossible for the US government to have carried out the 9/11 attacks. There is too much evidence against al-Qaeda, and considering al-Qaeda has always wanted to wipe out the American population, how could it not be them? I also do not believe the government could have carried out such a horrific attack and not get caught. Also, what did the US government have to gain from killing of thousands? 9/11 has done nothing but break apart the US population, and that is no job of our government. Terrorist have always wanted to break down the US because we are such a super power, so why would our government endanger our

In this case, skeptics of 9/11 believe that the government planned the “plane crash” for the reason of going to war with Iraq and Afghanistan. “In this sense [conspiracy theory] 9/11 is no different from the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the fatal car crash of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed or - for Germans- the suicide of politician Uwe Barschel”(Gerdes). Flight UA 93 did not crash into the field, because if so there would have been evidence of the plane. UA 93 was simply shot down by the fighter jets. CNN news had reports three minutes after the attacks.…

Research shows many reasons why 9/11 could’ve been ran by the government. The first reason why I think that 9/11 was an attack planned by the government is the fact that the World Trade Centers’ steel “melted. ” The steel could only melt at a certain degree and the airplane fuel was not at a high enough temperature to melt it. “The theory goes that since ignited jet fuel in the 9/11 explosions didn't get hot enough to melt steel — jet fuel burns at 800 to 1,500 degrees, but the melting point for most steel is 2,700 degrees — the collapsed buildings must have been an inside job.…
