Lack of knowledge and trials caused us to take centuries to reach the heights of science and technology, despite the evolution, somehow we are mentally caged in our ancestral beliefs. This essay will develop and empirically examine the evaluation of failure over the period of time. It will also cover the challenges, failure has faced over the last few centuries. In this comparative analysis,we will focus on the similarities between "The Trial and Death of Socrates",and "In Praise of Failure". Despite the intellectual inclination, over the past few centuries, the philosophy of failure remained the same. It is still commonly believed that failure is a negative aspect of human's attributes, as it hinders success. Even though the past has taught us different lessons, like the invention of Super Computer, as a result of numerous trials and errors, yet we continue to loathe failure. Failure could be a medicine against such arrogance and hubris, as it often brings humility." It explains how inability to succeed becomes an imperative tool of self realization. There are people among us who despise failure and idealizes perfection, but they forget that death is inevitable. Failure is an eye opener for the conceits and therapeutic for the idealists.
