Grant speaks to himself about how Jefferson has become a man once again and he thinks about how Jefferson is more of a man than he will ever be. A lesson before dying is an effective and powerful film because the director used of good elements in the film. The effectiveness of the film is attributable to director use of setting and plot. He uses setting to provide the location and the meaning behind the background. He uses plot to provide a real understanding of Grant Wiggins, Jefferson and other characters. These two components together make the film effective and make the best film in
