Kyriacou states that “Effective teaching is primarily concerned with setting up a learning activity for each pupil which is successful in bringing about the type of learning the teacher intends.” (Kyriacou, 2007) Reading this quote and looking at Appendix 1, I believe I set up some good learning activities where the pupils showed learning was there and were very engaged in the activities at the same time. These learning activities that I set up in my final teach really varied and I believe this really helped the pupils to earn. I believe it also made it more enjoyable because it wasn’t all writing down on paper; I had a final activity at the end that required each student to tick the box on the board. In my lesson plan I believe I set challenging expectations but they were reasonable ones that were very clear and achievable.
