My philosophy of education is that every child has the capacity to learn and every child should have the opportunity to receive a quality education in a safe and secure environment. It is humbling as an educator to know that I am one of many responsible for providing effective instruction to support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of my students. Effective facilitation comes from continually reviewing and assessing the needs of my students, utilizing proven, research-based instruction, integrating educational technology into the curriculum, and encouraging my students to think for themselves.
