To begin with, the Nazi party came into power of the German government in January, 1933. Over multiple years, Hitler manipulated the German citizens into believing that he would be followed unrivaled and that he was a superior being. In “The introduction to the Holocaust”, it states that “The Nazis believed that Germans were "racially superior" and that the Jews, deemed "inferior," were an alien threat to the so-called German racial community.” So, when he gained complete control and worked his way into a dictatorship, Hitler then decided to do something about the jewish population since he would not be questioned by the citizens of Germany.
