Albert Einstein grew up differently than other people his age did. Albert Einstein was brought into the world on March 14, 1879, in the town of Ulm, Germany. This is where he grew up until his high school years. His father was Hermann Einstein, the owner of a failing electrical equipment company. Einstein's …show more content…
Albert Einstein’s first job was in a patent office, issuing patents to inventors and their inventions daily. While Einstein was in the office doing nothing, he would come up with many equations and theories in the field of physics. One year while working in the patent office, he came up with many of his most famous physics theories and equations. This was considered his “miracle year”, coming up with his most famous and well known equations and theories like E=mc2 (energy equals mass times the speed of light squared). He later applied to be a professor at the University of Zurich in Switzerland in 1909, but then worked at the Institute for advanced studies in Princeton, New Jersey in 1933. His first girlfriend (and soon to be wife) was named Mileva Maric, a fellow classmate that he met in college. They had a baby daughter named Liesrel before they got married, so Albert and Mileva put her up for adoption. They ended up getting married one year later, and had a son named Hans. Later on in Einstein’s life, he got divorced with Mileva and married his cousin, Elsa. Together, they moved to Princeton, New Jersey in early 1933. This was because the Nazis were persecuting Jews, and the Einsteins were just that. Albert Einstein was then awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for his many discoveries, theories, and equations in the field of physics. Einstein later retired from his job in the
