Good things come in small packages. This proverb doesn’t come near to describing my friend Alyssa Luukkonen. Sure, she is short, but she isn’t a good thing. She is a great thing that comes in a small package. Alyssa is quite the package and I admire her because she is silly, smart and helpful, kind and caring, and together we have a friendship that I wish not to lose. The first thing you will notice about Alyssa is that she is a bright character. She once said, “I like the color yellow because it’s like the sun, happy and cheerful.” Alyssa is almost always smiling or laughing. She has a comedic style like no other. Her jokes are ones that don’t insult other people or make people feel bad. Not to mention her timing is impeccable and spot on
