Political Theory Liberty and Power Hannah Arendt was born in Germany in 1906. When Nazis came to power, she went and settled USA for escaping Nazis. Her main political job started in USA that she wrote books such as “the Origins of Totalitarianism”, and “Human condition” that portrayed freedom and autonomy for society. She reflects “On Revaluation” (1963) both American and French revaluation that how society converted its political power to other, and what kind of liberties new power brought to society simultaneously. She asserted that revaluation is ultimate aim to change power to other. Revaluation is foundation of freedom that it brings new liberties and freedom to society. If one man carries more than one power, society is unconstitutional, and that man turns to be tyranny, absolute power carrier. American revaluation actually based up on against absolute power because Hannah point out that the more absolute the prince, the more absolute revaluation will trigger which convert him to another. She followed that constitutional power the best safeguard to create consistent system of power, and to protect liberties in society. As matter of fact, Arendt compared why American revaluation did bring new power and liberty but French did not. Consequence of French revaluation did not success because Hannah claimed that civil people did not get complete agreement such as liberties and freedom American revaluation did. It only based op on absolute power like monarch and his feudal that that process created unjust liberties for civil peoples in power.
