I agree with Brooks to the extent that people who have those virtues in life tend to have a positive impact in lives of others and the community as a whole. However, the one very important experience I would recommend which is not on his bucket list is the role of the Almighty God. There has never been any generation as the current one also known as the GENERATION ME that is so focused on building wealth and being famous and not on God. Bible principles as based on the bucket list mentioned by Brook in his research much sense to include God. Also, if we as humans know we are accountable to God for our character in terms of honesty, love faithfulness caring, kindness, we will all take it seriously and put more focus on these virtues rather than accumulating wealth because there is justice for all.Brooks concept of conscience leap means leaving behind all the material skills and wealth, acquired and stepping into another world which is focus on morals and helping the community in a positive …show more content…
If subordinates do not doubt that their leader is of highest integrity then this can easily translate to higher performance on the part of the subordinate. When subordinates perceive Leadership to be of high integrity, then leadership will do everything in the interest of the employees. Perception of inner character of a leader does not always play a role in follower attribution of his or her trustworthiness. The main reason is that the individual decision of a leader to be trustworthy or not can change at any time depending on various choices. A leader could be trustworthy now and untrustworthy the next day due to greed or other attributes. However, if trustworthiness is backed by action, this can translate to higher performance because subordinates can easily relate to such actions to enhance their own
