Animals Testing Did you know that all across the world each year, millions of animals are being put under harsh and inhumane circumstances in order to have potentially harmful products tested on them? How is it ethical that on estimate, 26 million animals are used for scientific and commercial testing? Many people have a preconceived idea that only “useless” animal are being tested on such as rats, but animals like dogs and cats are being tested on as well. In 2010, Minnesota used a total of 2,703 cats and New Jersey used a total of 6,077 dogs, that is more than any other state (“Alternatives In Testing”). Cruelty Free International states how approximately 115 million animals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, dogs and monkeys are used in dangerous laboratory experiments every year. In fact, many of the experiments are said to be useless tests, as stated, “The reality is that the majority of animal experiments do not contribute to improving human health, and the value of the role that animal experimentation plays in most medical advances is questionable” (“Animal Testing is Bad Science”). Misconceptions by the media may stretch the idea how animal testing can cure diseases, illnesses etc.. But actually, as emphasized, animal testing is an inefficient way of finding medical advances, making the procedures to be unnecessary and making there be no reason to force animals into labs without a choice, it's blatantly a waste of animals lives.…

My opinion matters and so does yours! I think that animal testing is wrong and cruel and unhealthy for these animals to go through, some of these tests and researches cause pain and can even lead to death for some of these animals. These animals are being tortured, there are many different tests that these animals go through every day that cause them to suffer. Why would you even test an animal, If they will most likely not have the same reaction to the product, the medicine, or the disease. They won't have the same reaction because our immune systems are different, even our skin is different, so why put them through these test that harm these poor animals.…
