Animal Farm Comparison Contrast
The novel, Animal Farm by George Orwell conveys multiple similarities and differences regarding the movie. In the movie, as well the book Mr.Jones the owner of the farm is a drunk, Old Major a highly respected elder dies, and Napoleon destroys the order of the farm. However in the movie, unlike the book Old Major was shot by Mr.Jones’ bullet, Mr.Jones was a cheater, Mr.Pilkington was on the animal's’ side from the beginning, and Squealer turned out to be just as evil as Napoleon. The setting in the beginning of the book takes place as Mr.Jones forgetting to lock up because of the whiskey he drank prior that evening. As for the movie, his behavior did not change.
