On my M3, I will talk about troubles that might emerge when trying to implement anti-discriminatory practice in healthcare sector and I will explain further by giving relevant examples in health and social care settings. Some of these challenges are
Conflict from staff who does not feel they are doing something wrong: Conflict is something that usually happens between health and social care staff especially when they do not agree with one and the other. There are some workers who feel that they are always doing something right even when they are wrong. Some colleague can find it difficult to correct them as they may be aggressive to them. Conflict in work place is a barrier to anti-discrimination because people can be label and their right may be taken away from them, For example; A nurse left a hoist outside the corridor, this may caused risk for service users, but a carer tried to tell her not leave the hoist as the nurse get angry and be so aggressive to the

Cultural and religious belief conflict with policy is a particular focus in the work place. Staff may see that there are a lot of policies in their work place and this may be worrying you to follow because of your culture and religion belief. This may bring conflict between staff with policy, it is best for individual to avoid this by talking to others in the workplace and see what they may think or if possible, talk to your manager so that staff will able to work within the legal ethical and policy guideline. For example; cultural conflict may occur in health and social care setting at the point when a person coordinates wrong verbal/non-verbal conduct to another. Clashes can happen between service users and staff as well as between staffs in the work place. This can be difficult for individual to promote anti-discriminatory
