Antigone to Creon said this quote after Antigone was caught for trying to bury her brother Polynices. The quote is very important to the overall story of Antigone because it revolves around the theme of family verse family and also the theme of right verse wrong. Creon is Antigone’s uncle but they don’t necessarily see eye to eye with each other, which is why she calls Creon a tyrant. Other distributes occur between family members throughout the play. An example being the brothers Polynices and Eteocles fight and eventually killing each other regarding who should take the throne, Ismene and Antigone argue about burying their brother, and lastly Haemon and his father Creon argue about punishing Antigone for her deeds. The story Frankenstien the inventor, Victor, has to make multiple choices on what he thinks is right. Firstly in the name of science he decides to create a new race but ends up creating a monster. This monster after being abandoned by the inventor thinks the right thing to do is to punish Victor. After the death of Victors brother the monster gives him an ultimatum. The agreement was that if Victor builds a female monster the original monster will no longer do anymore hanouse crimes, but if Victor fails to do so the monster will attack all of Victors loved ones. If Victor built the new monster he is risking the potential of the monster turning on him, or a new species of monsters, or the female monster may kill people. Victor finally decides that the right thing to do is to not build the monster for the sake of society but in the end everyone dear to him is killed. One could also say that the monster is like Victors son, so there is a little bit of a family verse family
