In response to industry feedback, ATPCO is proposing an upload service for Optional Services Provisions (S7) (Including Baggage). Please review the proposal and complete the Milestone 2 form by 19 August 2016 indicating your organizations level of support for solution direction. Please also indicate your organizations required critical features, interest in using the solution, as well expected upload volumes.
ATPCO has been working with travel industry professionals to find the best ways for airlines to grow ancillary pricing more efficiently and with faster speed to market. As a result, an updated workflow proposal for an Optional Services Dynamic Data Creation Maintenance tool was presented to the Optional Services and Branded Fares Working Group in February. That solution will support new, updated, cancelled, and deleted S7 sequences. Users will be able to export current data, make modifications, and upload the changes. All uploaded data will be accessible for viewing and maintenance in the FareManager Optional Services application. It will be designed with an Application Program Interface (API) in mind to connect with airline internal systems and offer management systems in the future. Please review the attached PowerPoint presentation for further information about the solution proposal and complete the Milestone 2 form by 19 August 2016.
ATPCO continues to work with industry via the Optional Services and Branded Fares Working Group as well as the Dynamic Pricing Working Group to enhance pricing capabilities in the marketplace.
