Everyone of all ages will be coming out to see the Woodward War Eagles take on the Buford Wolves in a tennis match that is already being dubbed “the match of the century”. The match will take place on Monday at the state-of-the-art facility known as Shailendra Tennis Center which can seat 20 lucky fans comfortably. The tennis center has recently added a brand new jumbotron where the fans are more interested in getting on the big screen than observing what is actually taking place on the courts. The rivalry has garnered national attention as scouts and ESPN will be at the match to cover and watch as all the drama unfolds in beautiful College Park, Georgia. If you are looking for some fun before the real excitement begins, SGA will be hosting a cookout before the match. At the cookout, there will be the marching band along with tailgate games being played by students who could only wish they were on the tennis team. You will also see a large number of lower and middle school kids with jerseys of their favorite tennis players with their names on the back of them.
