Illegal immigration has been a heavily debated topic across the United States for the past few years. These undocumented Immigrants are often seen as the enemy and their point of views are rarely seen across. Most immigrants that come into the country are looking for better lives. The United States is supposed to be the land of opportunity, but this country is keeping people from great opportunities. Illegal immigrants should be legalized for their work ethic, their desire to provide for their families and their diverse contributions to our society Once illegal immigrants get into the country, they usually work in low paying positions that most Americans refuse to do,such as agriculture. Most American citizens do not understand what these people go through just to make their lives and the lives of their families a little bit better than what they are used too. There are many opportunities in The United States. So why can’t we help illegal immigrants that are people in need? We can provide help to countries and provide things for them so they can be more dependent on us but, when they take initiative and cross the U.S border there is a problem. If we provide help to countries, we should be open to change. They see the lives that American citizens have, and they just want that for themselves.
