Also, The Washington Post says “The great majority of people who died at the hands of the police fit at least one of three categories: they were wielding weapons, they were suicidal or mentally troubled, or they ran when officers told them to halt.” Now in all these videos that are in the news and all over social media, why would an officer randomly shoot an innocent person? That individual had to have either had a weapon at one point or opposed a threat to those officers. Meanwhile, those officers are being ridiculed for making the best decision that thought was right. I’m sure many times officer would go back and change some of their actions but then again who wouldn’t? Bottom line is that these men and women took an oath to protect their country in every way possible but they also but protect themselves. They do have wives, husbands, children, parents, and siblings to go home to after their shift
