He is using negative words to create negative reactions or crashes. We also have a family of one culture with the younger generation trying to make the older understand the difference of communicating with other cultures instead of getting frustrated, misunderstood and angry. She is using positive words to avoid cultures crashing and the outcome is saving two lives. In one more instance two black men are calling each other the same negative names and their voices and body movements continue to spiral upward the whole time (111).
Emotional blockage. The comment of a white civilian women, “I wake up angry everyday” (124), tells us that it is not only law enforcement that need to understand where their emotions come from before dealing with others. Nor is it minorities that only feel angry about their life. Whatever the reason, it is necessary for civilians also to learn that bias and prejudices toward minorities can be the cause emotional and even potential physical crashes which have to be dealt with by law enforcement. This is where cross culture communication needs
