My daughter is in kindergarten and she is not enjoying it as much as preschool. She loves science, and more emphasis is being focused on learning so many site words, reading from a certain set of books, drawing blocks to perform math functions, and working from applications on the computer, tablet, or smartphone. Kindergarteners only go to school a little over three hours each weekday, and all this information the kids have to learn is packed into these three hours, which leaves hardly any time for other important learning opportunities like physical education, art, or science. At younger ages, technology will help mold the child to be better prepared for later years of education. Those that were previously learning impaired will now have a chance to utilize electronic devices that will make any disabilities seem as though they were never there.
