However, McKinsey and Company added that there is no quality of education that can exceed the quality of the teacher (McKinsey & Co., 2007-CHECK APA). This reinforces that, in as much as teachers are the key to quality education, selection of teachers should be completed carefully, so that the quality of education can be like the quality of the teachers in terms of experience and training. According to studies, the quality of the teacher is a vital contributor to the achievements of the learner, more than other factors that include classroom size, background, and composition (Sanders & Horn, 1998). This also applies to inclusive classrooms, where there is a need for the quality of the teacher offering services to the students in order to achieve quality education. The teachers’ quality can be improved by training them on special education practices . There is a growing need for high quality teachers who can meet the needs of all learners, not only to provide equal opportunity, but also to provide education for an inclusive society (Reynolds, 2001). The requirement for education in an inclusive classroom society is not met by simply providing more teachers in schools, but by providing more teachers who have training relevant to the issues of special education and issues involving students with disabilities in an inclusive
