31 March 2015 What is racial profiling unfair? Racial Profiling is an unfair practice that is not necessary in crime prevention. Racial profiling is the act of targeting a person for criminal investigation primarily because of racial or ethnic characteristics. It impacts our society because people now don’t really trust law enforcement because of certain cases were some law enforcement were using racial profiling to solve a case. Racial profiling is not a fair judgment because you shouldn’t judge somebody based on their appearance, color, or where they live.

I feel as though racial profiling is right, you shouldn’t judge a person based on their looks or ethnic background. Everybody is their own person. Critics who study racial profiling acknowledge that law enforcement officials have broad discretion when it comes to stopping and searching citizens. More than 240 years of slavery and 90 years of legalized racial profiling of blacks in traffic and pedestrian stops.
The color of your skin should not give law enforcement a reason to point you to a crime. Racial profiling is a problem that has been occurring for a long period of time and a worldwide problem that targets people of colored race for crimes because of the color of their skin. Racial profiling has led many people to live in fear, casting out communities as suspects because of what they look like, where they live, and their religion judged.
No one should judge by the color of their skin for a crime. Law enforcement should not discriminate people for crimes, people don’t trust them as much as they might have before racial profiling became a problem and they have lost most of their credibility. How would you feel if you were put in a situation where you were racial profiled because of how you looked, were you stay, or the way they act? That’s not a good feeling is it? I’m sure your answer would be no. So why is it right for other people to do it? It’s not right at all. Everybody is their own
