SOCIAL AND GENETIC DETERMINISM
Social determinism
There are two famous theories of human behaviors worldwide and also discussed in our course work. One theory of human behavior is derived by the B.F Skinner in which he focuses on the environments and beliefs which derive and influence the behavior of living organisms. According to his theory, social determinism is actually the theory in which the social experiences and interactions determine the behavior of individual and the biological factor such as genes have no contribution in the developing of individual behaviors.
Skinner also believed that the current attitude and behavior of living organisms thoroughly depends on the past …show more content…
For somehow this theory seems to be well in a way that the genes have surely an impact on the living species behavior and beliefs. The way of thinking, the approach use for the solution of problem and the way of adapting to new learning and beliefs usually comes from the genes of ancestors of the living species. For example, a woman or female is supposed to give birth to the children and men are not for sure. If we think to reverse this natural system as we create such belief and environment in which the men are supposed to give birth to the children, is it possible!! No, it’s not possible because of the genes the female got transfer from their …show more content…
By large, the Richard Dawkins theory was too near to the living species nature and beliefs and the Skinner theory mostly contains the contradictions if we compare his theory with the real life facts and beliefs. For example Skinner is considering the environment and current belief as the influential factors for living species behavior which cannot be accepted at all because he is totally negating the concept of genes in-built characteristics that usually transfer from one generation to another. In my point of view as I discussed above that the genes have surely a major and main role in the development of living species behavior and it cannot be negated at all which I proved above by giving some
