I’d like to talk about the reasoning behind my dream of becoming an occupational/physical therapist. Beginning with the experience of constantly dislocating my knee caps every year, this was my segway to my first physical therapy sessions. Unfortunately, after the 5th year of dislocating each kneecap, they realized physical therapy was no longer an option, for my MCL injury had grown to stage 3, leading to my doctor’s recommendation for medial collateral ligament surgery.
