It is related to race because I have the freedom to choose all different kind of race of friendship. I have a diversity group of friends during my lifetime. I have white friends, Asian friends, American friends, Latino friends, African American friends, and Native American friends. Ethnicity is also in my group of friend. Unlike most other social groups, ethnicity is primarily an inherited status. I was born in Mexico, therefore, my culture is Mexican and when I attended school, my classmates ate the same thing and believed in the same believes. I remember that on Saturdays and Sundays I would go to a Christian reunion where everybody where Chinese so I could understand and learn from them. I also remember that I did go to a Catholic church because it was right next to the apartments where I used to live. My parents are Chinese, which means, I also grew up with Chinese culture. I ate Chinese food because my parents are Chinese and they believe in Buddhism, therefore, I had to believe in Buddhism because my parents made me practice it with them.
