Tybalt Capulet, the “Prince of Cats” also known as nephew of Lord Capulet was slaughter by Romeo Montague, son of the Lord Montague. Mercutio, blood-related to the Prince Escalus was another victim to be killed in this scene. It is supposed that Mercutio was slain by Tybalt, using Romeo as a shield when trying to break them up. In an interview with the young, and distressed Benvolio, of the Montagues, was a key eye-witness to the dreadful scene.
