The Betty and Barney Hill Abduction case is more famous compared to other alien encounters because the other cases were mere followers. Because it is the first public account of alien abduction, there was controversy; the questionable evidence of when, where, and why it happened still intrigues today.
First set evidence is looking at when it happened, we can tell it happened in the early 1960’s. It was September 19, 1961, night the Hills were on their way home to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, after a holiday in Montreal. “The story of the alleged UFO abduction of Betty and Barney Hill in New Hampshire in 1961 is well known to the public.” Betty. On their way home saw this bright object in the rear view mirrors. Barney stopped the car to see what this bright object was when.
Barney, a 39 year-old black man, was a postal worker, and Betty, a 41 year-old white woman, who worked in the child welfare department. The Hills had embarked on a vacation

When the Hills went on this vacation they went by Woodstock that is when the saw these lights moving erratically in the sky, they kept an eye on it when they got to Indian head they stopped and looked at it in binoculars. After that traveled 35 miles down the road they thought they had lost this newly found object when it suddenly reappeared.
They were just north of North Woodstock, when Barney noticed that the light was voyaging in a very unusual manner. When they reached Indian Head, they stopped their car, and got out to have a better gaze. Using binoculars, Barney augmented with what he thought was a light. He could make out different colors of lights and see numerous rows of windows around an unidentified object. The object progressed closer, and then Barney could actually make out people inside the ship. Was this strange flying object being piloted by humans?
