What did Scout, and Jem find in the Radley's' knothole? Throughout the book Jem and Scout find several items hidden in the knothole of the tree just outside of Boo's home. In total they find a couple of sticks of gum, a small box containing coins, a ball of twine, two figures …show more content…
By leaving simple, harmless and thoughtful gifts for them, it becomes clear that Boo is a good person, which is different from Scout and Jem's original feelings about him.

Atticus says that Mrs. Dubose is the bravest person he knows. She battles her illness daily and even wants to die not addicted to the painkiller. When she gives Jem the flower after she dies, she is passing that bravery on to him. His attacking the flowers was a learning opportunity.
Tom Robinson could not have beaten up Mayella Ewell because he is crippled on his left side. Early in the trial, Atticus shows that Mayella would have been attacked by a left handed person(because the bruise on her right eye), and that Bob Ewell is indeed left handed.
Scout was on her way home from the Halloween pageant wearing her ham costume and Jem and Scout realize they are being followed by someone they think is just Cecil because he tried to scare them before but then Jem yells to run. They began to fight with the man and stout here is at the crunch of gems elbow. Mr. Tate arrives with news that he's found a pink dress, some pieces of ham-colored cloth and the corpse of Bob Ewell, who's been stabbed to death by a
