Research Paper A bow hunter accidently broke his leg, and crawled for days to survive. John Sain is an experienced bow hunter, and was hunting for elk deep into the forest. It supposed to be a short trip, but because of the accident he had to survive in the wilderness for four days. He even thought of suicide, but his family helped him to survive. He slipped between two logs, and fell forward, which caused a breakage in his right leg. He almost snapped his leg in half. His experience helped him and he made a splint using sticks.
