In order to maintain business, it is integral to at least break even. The break even analysis is very important in the management of day to day operations and the future outlook in a business. It has been known that facilities managed by nurses can overall lower the cost of care more than those run by physicians. Healthcare is facing major crisis which includes more control externally, errors rates that are unknown, rising uninsured populations and decrease in payer resources (McBryde-Foster 2005). It is well known that since the recession many health care facilities have had to let go of staff due to budget cuts.
