Knowing that humankind demolishes should come to realization in society that no good will come from destroying each other because it will only result in the destruction of human nature. Golding wants to get the point across that society does not get defeated by an outside force but rather society gets defeated because of the cruelty of humankind and how society destroys itself. The inhumanity of humankind mirrors violence and destruction in which no relief will come about therefore realizing that the barbarity of humankind destroys society
