Kendell Beckwith, O.J. Howard, Justin Evans, and Chris Godwin are the Buccaneers rookies and after playing in only one game they have not really had much of a chance to show case their abilities. However, Kendell Beckwith and O.J. Howard played fairly well last week.
Beckwith saw his first regular season action vs the Bears, he wasn't outstanding, but he did show off what he is capable in the time he was on the field. Beckwith played in the entire game as middle linebacker, strong side linebacker and proved he can play both positions more than efficiently. He recorded 5 solo tackles, a pass defend, and a run stuff. The coming contest against the Minnesota Vikings will give Beckwith the chance to shine as he will be filling in for the injured Kwon Alexander. After this weekend, Kiper may want to re evaluate his list.
O.J. Howard saw his first action of the season and had 1 reception for 17 yards on 3 targets. Despite playing more in last week's game than any other Buccaneers tightend, he is off to a slow start, but should change as the next few games come and go. …show more content…
Hopefully, he is given more opportunity to play this Sunday, vs the Vikings, because i believe Godwin has what it takes to become a premiere receiver in this league.
