In The Phoenix Files, I have noticed a lot of conflict between characters. There is a conflict between two of the three main characters, Peter and Jordan. Peter likes Jordan so he keeps trying to win her over. However, Jordan doesn’t like him back, so she is just getting annoyed. They usually just end up arguing.’Peter glared at her,”That’s not fair! If either of you can show me one piece of concrete evidence-”’. ‘“Don’t give me that!,” spat Jordan,”This has nothing to do with evidence and you know it! You just don’t want any of it to be true, because then you might actually have to step up and do something about it!”(244). The thing they don’t want to be true is that the world is ending in one hundred days. The people plotting it are in there
