I stopped making irrational judgements, I viewed people for more than what's on the outside, I embraced the positive people around me, and I thought more optimistically. When sophomore year rolled around, my contrasting attitude left me excited about learning. I was geeked to further my education every day in and out of the classroom. I actually put effort forth in all my classes, and the growth I experienced throughout sophomore year was abundant. I wasn't stressed out all the time, receiving A’s for my hard work was rewarding, and I was finally happy with the path I was on in life. The prodigious success I had sophomore year, taught me to embrace change because of the positive growth I underwent.
As humans, we find change scary because we fear the unknown, however, I strongly believe change is necessary to grow as an individual. Throughout my life, from a juvenile to an adult, I have experienced an abundance of change, which has constructed me into the man I am today.
