Neglect can occur in many forms including: malnutrition, physical an emotional neglect, healthcare neglect, scholastic neglect, and just simply ignoring the child. These types of neglect are severely debilitating to a child’s development and overall well-being. A child’s mind is innocent and fresh when they are young and developing, but when abuse or neglect is brought in, they tend to regress, lose their true identity, turn to bad sources for help, or not ask for help at all.
