Chile is positioned in the western and southern hemispheres. On the southwestern coast of South America, and bordered by Argentina, Bolivia and Peru and by the Pacific Ocean. Peru on the Northern border, Argentina bordering all of east Chile, and Bolivia in the NE.

The Chamber of Deputies has 120 seats. Members directly elected in multi-seat constituencies by majority vote to serve 4 year terms. The last time elections were held for both the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate was on November 17,
